With a total budget of around CAD 5,000.00, and a single shoot day; the production team had to balance the creative needs of the project with the constraints that would make it viable and effective.

Leaning heavily on my past experience as a director the choice to allocate resources prioritizing the needs of the storytelling and performance was made early, and I contributed to visualize character concepts that proved to be challenging under those circumstances.

In the end, the result was a short film that stands out within the Compendium series for its accomplished story and solid character performances; as well as keeping the traditional high end visuals associated to the series.
